I guess I'll keep it around for now.
Have you figured out what your (or your kids') Halloween costume will be this year? What's it going to be?
Two words: Buzz Lightyear.
When was the last time you made a drastic change to your personal style (i.e., wardrobe, hairstyle, etc.)? What did you do?

Well, let's see. I'm guessing the weight-loss regiment that I'm on right now doesn't exactly qualify, (28 lbs so far and counting!) but it may lead to future changes in style. Most notably, would be a wardrobe update.
I'm growing my hair out. The last time I did that was almost a decade ago. I think my current avatar is most indicative of my last major overhaul of my personal style, (the blue hair came shortly after I chopped off the pony-tail last time.)
I created a Vox account a while ago because I liked some of the community building features of it. I haven't been using it much since I decided to port all the entries from an old community blog into my own WP installation. But honestly I haven;t been writing much there either.
I'm wondering if it isn't time to give Vox another go.
Hi, I once ran a site named G-Blog.net.
This is basically just a placeholder for me so I can occasionally comment on other peoples' blogs.
My real blog is at http://carlo.zottmann.org/.
Take care, y'all.
Carlo / Gossip
Vox is fun, but I have 5 years of content that I'm not ready to part with just yet.
In an effort to have the best of both worlds, I've set up a wordpress blog at http://blog.hooloovoo.net as a place to start pulling my different blogs together. Including a vox syndication page. (hooray for custom page templates.)
(This post is mostly to make sure that my syndication page is working properly)
Okay, we hate to ask, but... over the roll or under the roll?
When I was a kid, we were an "over the roll" family. When I moved out I remained "over the roll". That is, until the cats figured out how to unroll an "over the roll" set up. (Imagine my surprise when I came home from work to discover that the apartment interior had been TP'ed) We switched to "under the roll" because the cats could spend all day spinning the roll and only damage a small percentage of it with their claws.
Of course, now that the cats have gone to live with grandma, we're back to "over the roll"
I never understood what all the fuss was about, anyway. It all ends up in the same place at the end.
I really HAVE been posting between August of last year and today. It was sporadic, at best and was being done over at my other blog home, http://g-blog.net.
G-Blog has been around since 2001, and had developed a really great core group of people. G-Blog is shutting it's doors at the end of the month, and I haven't totally decided where I'm going to move to. Gossip, the maintainer of G-Blog, provided a handy export utility for everyone's content, so I haven't lost any data. Gossip even wrote a WP import script (mostly because he was moving his stuff to WP.) I've got my blog archive sitting on my web server right now, and I might set up a WP blog for it, or I might just build a static archive page with the data.
If Vox had an RSS 2.0 importer I move over here full-time in a second. (I may still switch to Vox full time, but being able to move my archive here would make the choice that much easier.)
Details on the data I'd personally like to import (in case anyone from Vox is reading): I've got about 500 entries (Dating back to December 2001) stored in an RSS 2.0 XML file. All the related comments are archived as well, making use of the RSS 2.0 Blogcomments module.
